Wikipedia’s Gender Gap

There’s growing conversation pointing to problems within the community of editors who keep Wikipedia running. Anyone who does online research knows that Wikipedia always comes up toward the top of Google searches as it is has become one of the web’s most linked up information sources. Online researches can’t escape Wikipedia, which is why it is troubling when women editors note that the Wikipedia community may not be very friendly to them.
