One of the generous donors of art to the Moraine Valley Community College campus passed on February 18, 2012. The college mourns the loss of Matt Lamb whose work (painting) is located on a wall outside of the library and whose metal artwork is located in the terrace or patio area at the bottom of the L Building ramp. In his retirement years, Matt devoted himself to his pet project “Umbrellas for Peace” and to creating his works of art.
The library is pleased and priviledged to have several materials about Matt, his philosophy, and his work.
