Today, I went to the US Census Bureau site to do some research, and I received the following message:
“Due to the lapse in government funding, census.gov sites, and all online survey collection requests will be unavailable until further notice.” (see image below)
A whole bunch of government sites are offline due to the shutdown. This is an inconvenience for our research, but the shutdown is impacting other people such as government employees in very serious ways.
