Today the SEC filed suit against five promoters of Bitconnect. The civil lawsuit alleges the five defendants of running a crypto ponzi scheme. The 2017 “To the Moon” darling rose from .17 cents all the way to $463 by promising unrealistic returns before collapsing entirely in early 2018.
