Summer is the Time for Rejuvenation

Summer is a time for reading, reflection, self improvement, but most importantly, it is a time for rejuvenation. It is the perfect opportunity to give yourself a respite from the cycle of papers, exams, work, and classes that make the academic year so strenuous. It costs nothing to take a moment and walk through the 1,300 trees on campus, check out a book or magazine like Breathe from our library, view an outdoor performance of Shakespeare’s “Antony and Cleopatra” at the gateway, or view the cosmos at the G. Jack Bradley Observation Deck. As with so many other life lessons that classic literature teaches us, embrace the feeling that life begins again with the summer.
