Pew Report Outlines US Religions’ Stances on Homosexuality

Attitudes around sexual orientation and same-sex marriage are quickly shifting in the United States. About a year ago, President Obama because the first sitting US President to publicly support same-sex marriage. I wrote about this on May 11, 2012 in this blog post: Diversity, Gay Marriage, Politics and Religion. Much of the debate centers around religious beliefs.

Recently, the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life came out with a report covering the major religions in the US. This could be a useful link for students writing papers or people who are just interested in the diversity of religious beliefs in the US. Here’s the link:
