B.E.L.A. is an Orland Park-based organization dedicated to raising awareness and creating prevention of spousal abuse. The organization is a major supporter of the The Crisis Center for South Suburbia. B.E.L.A. was founded by Mount Greenwood’s Lynch family after the death of family member Barb who was killed by her husband. The letters B E L A were Barb’s initials.
