Metropolitan Museum of Art Provides Free Access to Digital Images

The Metropolitan Museum of Art just announced that more than 400,000digital images of public domain works in the Museum’s collection may be freely downloaded directly from the Museum’s website for non-commercial use without needing permission from the Museum. The number of available images will increase as new digital files are added on a regular basis. All items that fall under this initiative are identified with the acronym OASC.
