Now that school is in full swing and there’s a crispness in the air, everyone’s mind turns to Halloween. And what better way to celebrate Halloween than with some good old fashion scary movies! Over the course of the next couple of months, I’ll feature great scary films that we have in the library. Today, I want to talk about The Ring. In the library, we have the 2002 Americanized version. The film was a remake of the original Japanese version, which was made in 1998. And the films is based off Koji Suzuki’s novels which were written in the 1990s. Unfortunately, we don’t have the novels or the original film, but if you’re looking for a scare, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed in this pick.
