This animated short tells a beautiful story about how two young people in mid-century New York City find love on their morning commute to work. The film is almost completely in black and white with just a small hint of red. If you have 6 minutes to spare, I would highly recommend this film.
Paperman has been nominated for an Annie and Oscar for Best Animated Short Film for 2013. If you saw Wreck It Ralph (released in theaters November 2, 2012), you already saw this short (unless you came in late because you were buying popcorn).

John Kahrs does the voice of the leading man George, but he’s not just a voice actor. Kahrs debuts his directing skills in this short, yet he is probably more widely known as a animator having worked on films such as Tangled (2010) where he worked as an animation supervisor, Bolt (2008), Ratatouille (2007), The Incredibles (2004), and Monsters, Inc. (2001).
