Everyday Should Be Treated like April Fools Day

April Fool’s Day is a day when new sites and celebs release a trove of fake information. This years tricks brought us the news reports that Tom Brady is retiring, and Jason Mamoa and the Rock are leaving the acting business to play professional rugby in New Zealand. For those of you that were fooled, this is a great experience to learn from. April Fools Day should not be the only day of the year when we critically evaluate information before accepting them as true.

If you want to know some questions to ask, visit  Evaluating Resources from the University of Southern California. These are the same questions you learn from your Moraine Valley Librarians. Then practice asking yourself more questions in your everyday reading, and conversations. Questions, help us to be informed, cause us to learn, and make us grow.
