Do You Know Who Actually Makes Your Gadgets?

I was floored by this piece from Public Radio International & WBEZ Chicago: Mr. Daisey and the Apple Factory from This American Life. This is something that all of us with phones, laptops, computers, and other gadgets should consider. Here’s the description from the This American Life site:

Mike Daisey was a self-described “worshipper in the cult of Mac.” Then he saw some photos from a new iPhone, taken by workers at the factory where it was made. Mike wondered: Who makes all my crap? He traveled to China to find out.
