Do The Right Thing

Oscar winners and runner ups are always up for debate. I finished the Academy Awards with the satisfaction that Spike Lee won a long overdue Oscar. His film, Do the Right Thing (1989), is one of the most important and powerful films in American history.  This is a movie you watch, encourage civil discourse on the difficult issues, and talk across political divides.

So if you have time this semester, check out the DVD at our library, or watch it online through our streaming library.
