This fall marks the 15th Anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on New York City. The Library will be hosting special events to remember this day in history which changed the globe. These are events have been planned by a special committee made up of faculty, administrators, and staff.

The History of 9/11 and the War on Terror

Jim McIntyre, assistant professor of History, will present background from the early 1990s, the rise of Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda, the attacks on 9/11, adn resulting War on Terror. This event is being held as part of the 15th Anniversary Commemoration of 9/11.

This special event commemorates the 15th Anniversary of 9/11 with a ceremony that includes reading of the victims’ names and a keynote talk. A beam of from the towers will be on display.
