The MVCC library blog posted on February 11, 2015, Chicago Deserves the Presidential Library , discussed the future location of President Obama’s Presidential Library. Chicagoans hoped that President Obama would remember his family history, as well as his educational and political connections to Chicago and choose the Windy City. The decision has been made. President Obama’s Presidential Library will be built in an undisclosed location in Chicago. There is a great deal of prestige, tourism dollars and local pride that will be bestowed upon the city.
