Bryan Lee O’Malley’s much anticipated follow up to the Scott Pilgrim graphic novels is almost here!
If you’re unfamiliar with the Scott Pilgrim series, they follow the tale of Scott Pilgrim, our slacker hero, in his quest to defeat his new girlfriend’s seven evil Exes. O’Malley gained acclaim for his art, which mixed elements of Japanese and American styles as well as his ability to tell a story that incredibly captures growing up in the age of video games and comic books. All in all, an epic, hilarious, touching tale in growing up and getting your life together.
Very little is known about his upcoming graphic novel, coming out in July, but he recently gave an interview and sneak peek. Librarian Lizzie cannot wait!
