Louis Zamperini, an Olympic runner and World War II hero, has died at age 97. The story of this remarkable man has been the subject of “The New York Times” best seller, “Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption.” An upcoming film version is scheduled to be released this December. Mr. Zamperini survived 47 days in a life raft and 2 brutal years as a prisoner of war.
