150 Years Since the Bloodiest Day in US History

Today makes the 150 anniversary since the bloodiest day in US history. During one four hour stretch, 10,000 soldiers were killed or wounded. We are noting these anniversaries as part of our One Book, One College Program. Here is an NPR story marking the anniversary, Antietam: A Savage Day In American History.
